Hi, I'm Selina.  I have been intrigued by all things esoteric from a young age and had several unexplained events occuring throughout my younger years which bought about a deep interest in occult subjects. 

I bought my first pack of Tarot cards in 1979 at the age of 19 from Mysteries, the well known occult shop in London's Covent Garden. This was prompted by the discovery that my late maternal grandmother, Alice, whose family were Italian/Welsh,  read the cards using ordinary playing cards and also read the tealeaves.  Italy being the home of the Tarot and Wales part of the mystic Celtic heritage helped add to the interest, as did my mother's activities as a spiritualist.

Those first cards were the much respected Rider Waite deck. By getting to know this fascinating pack I began a lifelong rapport with the cards.

Before this, at the age of 14, I had already been attempting to read palms for friends and family and was already much read in astrology (for those of you who are astrologically-minded, I am a Taurus, with Gemini rising and a Libra moon). Tarot was a natural progression.

Almost 30 years later, I am now also the proud possessor of the Gilded Tarot, the Mythic Tarot, the Osho Zen Tarot and I have been an Endorsed reader for the Tarot Association of the British Isles (TABI) since August 2006

In recent years, I have also become qualified as a crystal healer (I hold a SHNS Diploma in Crystal Healing and am certificated as a practitioner of the Melody 'Love is in the Earth' method).  I have also been attuned to Reiki Practitioner Level II.

I have sat in psychic and mediumship development circles, and I am also clairsentient (this means I can sense things psychically – sometimes acutely - such as the energetic vibrations surrounding someone or in a room), which helps add another perspective to my Tarot readings.

As far as personal beliefs go, I am a pagan and count other witches, readers, mediums, clairvoyants and psychics among my close circle of friends. One of my best friends is a trance medium so I suppose you could say I know quite a few 'unusual' people. But I also count those of the Catholic, Jewish and Christian faith as good friends.  Some 'know' about me.... some don't!

Before you ask, no, we don't all wear robes, dance naked in the moonlight or boil bats wings for breakfast. We don't worship the devil.  There is no devil in our belief system.  Instead, we are in tune with the cycles of nature, the moon, and see the deity as both male and female - God and Goddess.

We are all actually disappointingly ordinary and live what are deemed perfectly 'normal' lives.  You are more likely to find me wearing jeans, heels and a jacket rather than a long, flowing gothic gown.  OK, I do have a crystal ball,  but I also am a Mum and a businesswoman with a 'day job' - however I am passionate about my beliefs and am proud to have used Tarot to help guide countless others. Perhaps I can help you.
