How does e-mail Tarot work?

 

 

When you ask me to read for you, I will need your question (make it an empowering one – no yes or no questions please).  I will also need your name, your date of birth and whether you are male or female.  You don’t need to tell me whether you are married or single, or anything else.

 

I will then look at your question and decide which of my tarot decks I feel is the most relevant to your question.  My favourite deck is the Gilded Tarot as I find its beautiful, digital illustrations and jewel-bright colours are very stimulating psychically.  However, I may choose to use another deck, in particular the Mythic Tarot or the Rider Waite (my first deck, nearly 30 years old now!)

 

I will shuffle the cards, while meditating on your question.  The environment I work in is just the same as if you were with me in person.  I have incense burning, soft music in the background and complete peace and quiet to concentrate on your question and any energetic vibrations I pick up from your name and date or birth.

 

Then I will cut the pack three times and then replace the cards in an order relevant to the reading you have requested. Following this, I will pull out the card(s) for your reading.  

 

I will make notes of any immediate impressions I get from the spread and then take each section of the spread and relate it to aspects of your question.  Each card will be described to you and my impressions in relation to your question.  Then your reading will be written up clearly and precisely.  I will also summarise your reading.

When I was first asked to read Tarot by e-mail, I was sceptical.  I couldn’t understand how it would work without a client in front of me.  In face to face readings, I draw very much from the person and I ask questions as the reading progresses.  In e-mail Tarot, this is not possible, so I have learned to rely so much more upon intuitive, psychic responses this way.  After getting so much positive feedback, I was no longer a sceptic.  This is why feedback is vital.  I would therefore ask if you have been happy with your reading and feel it has struck a chord, or even whether you cannot understand certain aspects of it, you let me know by emailing me once you have read your reading.
